Nearly two dozen offers for Matias

Union City (N.J.) Union Hill offensive tackle Josue Matias now has more than two dozen scholarship offers.
That's a good thing but it will also make Matias' decision that much more difficult.

"The last schools to get in touch with me were Wisconsin and Michigan," Matias recalled on Sunday evening. "Both have already offered me. I was with my coach today and he told me I have 21 offers. I'll probably (narrow the list) around August. I don't know how many I'll get it down to but I'll eliminate some schools then."
Matias does not have any summer plans yet and said he will probably not attend any camps. Instead, he will spend most of his time practicing with his teammates.
"Every college stands out now," he said. "It's so hard to decide which college is the best. I don't know who stands out because I like them all."
Matias was at Rutgers for a tailgate on Sunday and he said he enjoyed himself. It was his third or fourth time at the New Jersey school and he has also visited Maryland. He's hoping to check out more schools before he trims his list.
"I'm just looking for a school where I won't miss home," he said. "I want to be somewhere I can just focus on football and school."
