Neal runs through the spring with offers

The spring has been busy for Tyrone (Ga.) Sandy Creek running back Rajion Neal. Neal has attended camps and combines galore this spring and summer and has been consistently one of the top performers wherever he has gone. With that kind of effectiveness, it is no surprise that he is also holding numerous scholarship opportunities.
Most recently, Louisville and Kentucky offered the big athletic back.

"It was great," Neal said of the offers. "I was happy. Me and my family were happy just giving us more things to choose from and more places to visit and more relationships to build. I knew a little bit about them before they offered me but I need to do some more research to see where they stand and what they have coming back things of that sort."
Along with Louisville and Kentucky, Neal also has offers from Mississippi State, Southern Miss, East Carolina and a host of other programs. This weekend, Neal is hoping to add one more offer.
"I'm going to Florida this weekend," he said. "The word is that if I do good, I think they'll put an offer on the table so I think we're just going to go up there and work. One of the coaches, Coach Carter, came down and watched me and he said after I come up there and do a one-day, we're going to sit down and put everything on the table and he's going to let me know where I stand."
Neal is also considering attending camps at Auburn and Michigan State and has been getting recruited heavily by Mississippi State, Southern Miss, West Virginia and East Carolina.
Neal is hoping to close in on a decision in the coming months regardless of what offers come.
"We're going to commit before the season starts," he said. "I think we're going to do it in that July time frame like June or July."
Along with the Florida offer, there are a few more schools that he would like to hear from and they don't have to be in the southeast..
"I like Oregon and Oklahoma State," he said. "Also Oregon State and schools of that sort."
