Neal expects film to impress

According to junior defensive end Lewis Neal of Hunt (N.C.), most of the schools he is hearing from are telling him the same thing.
"Virginia Tech is probably going to offer me soon," Neal said. "The coach told me, when I send my junior film he's going to offer me. He just wants to see how I did. Florida and Auburn, they also want my junior film to evaluate me. Oregon said they're happy I'm interested. They're just waiting on the junior film. Purdue also is waiting. I told the schools I'll send it out around November or December."

The question is, how solid will Neal's 2011 highlights be?
"They're going to be good," Neal said. "I can shut down the run game. I don't like people messing with me. I don't let anybody throw me around. I throw them around. My speed and quickness [stand out]. And my strength. We're 6-0. We just played our sixth game [Monday night]. I don't know my stats, but I know I get about nine or 10 tackles a game. I'm playing good."
One program already has seen enough to offer. North Carolina State pulled the trigger "awhile ago," Neal said. He attended last week's game in Raleigh against Georgia Tech and said he definitely is interested in the Wolfpack.
Next up for Neal is a trip to Blacksburg, Va.
"I'm going to Virginia Tech this weekend," Neal said. "They're playing Miami."
He also hopes to check out Tuscaloosa at some point.
"I went to Alabama camp and they said they liked what they saw," Neal said. "They told me to come back. If they invite me to the LSU game, I'll probably go to that."
