"I'm really excited to see the campus and talk with the coaches," Alloway said. "Mainly I want to check out the school and really get a feel for the place."
Notre Dame, Cal and UCLA are the three finalists for Alloway, a two-way standout who has really excelled at receiver this offseason.
Wisconsin was also among the favorites but Alloway said on Wednesday that the Badgers really are not among the serious contenders any longer.
"It's really those three," Alloway said.
There is a slight possibility that if Alloway absolutely loves his trip to South Bend that he could commit on the spot.
More than likely, the four-star is expected to return to New York for a few days, fly back to California on Monday, sit down with his family to review all three schools and then reach a decision in the coming weeks. He has visited Cal and UCLA numerous times.
"I'm going to come home and talk to my family and if I'm comfortable with my decision then I'm going to make my decision," Alloway said.
Notre Dame has certainly made the Fontana Summit recruit a priority in this recruiting class. Over the spring evaluation period, assistant coaches Mike Sanford and Mike Denbrock stopped by his school and since then have made it clear he's a prime target in the Irish class.
