NCs Top CB Heading To Hargrave

Hailing from North Carolina, cornerback Michael Hinton will play this season at Chatham (Va.) Hargrave Military. And you can bet he’ll have quite an audience of college recruiters.
Hinton, a 6-foot-2, 190-pound shutdown cornerback, is one of the top defensive backs on the east coast this year and proved just that with an impressive NIKE Camp showing at North Carolina in April. With his 4.5-second speed in the 40-yard dash, good size and excellent ball skills, Hinton has already received some offers.

“I have offers from East Carolina, West Virginia, NC State and Virginia so far,” he said. “My top five are Florida, NC State, Michigan, East Carolina and Virginia but I don’t have a real favorite just yet. If a team pulls ahead and really shows me something I like, I’ll probably commit to that school.”
Meanwhile, Hinton plans to camp at NC State, North Carolina, East Carolina and possibly Clemson this summer. All five of his favorite schools have visited his old high school, Cummings High School in Burlington, N.C., so for this spring.
“I don’t expect to make a decision until during my season at Hargrave, but you never know.”
