NCs Privott is picking up offers

A number of offers have come in for Ahoskie (N.C.) Hertford County wide receiver Kevin Privott. The 6-foot-2, 180-pounder claims over a half dozen scholarships and is inching closer to more according to his coach.
"He's got seven offers, Liberty, Furman, Howard, Old Dominion, Hampton, NC Central and Charlotte," Privott's father and head coach Scott Privott said. "He really likes Old Dominion. He has a cousin that is a freshman there, Antonio Vaughan."

Privott just came out of the Wake Forest camp over the weekend and plans to head to NC State this week, East Carolina and North Carolina soon as well.
In addition, a number of other schools including NC State, Navy, William & Mary, Wofford and more are interested.
"They really want to see him at camp," he said. "I think he might get a couple offers. NC State is really putting a lot of attention on him on both sides of the ball. They like tall corners and he can run and has good hips. They want to look at him at both."
Off the field Privott has a strong 3.4 GPA, on the field he had approximately 19 receptions for 400-yard and four touchdowns. He also posted two interceptions on defense.
"He didn't really have a quarterback that could throw it," he said. "He didn't come off the field for us though. He's a two-way player and an all-around good football player. He's very, very explosive with the ball in his hands. He can turn a three-yard route into an 80-yard touchdown. He's a physical player too."
