NC TE has eight offers and counting
Hope Mills (N.C.) South View tight end/defensive end Jonathan Hannah is one of the top prospects in North Carolina. Hannah, a Rivals100 selection, has already racked up eight scholarship offers. What teams have extended an offer to the standout player?
“I have offers from Kentucky, North Carolina, Virginia, Virginia Tech, North Carolina State, Duke, Penn State, and Vanderbilt. Kentucky just offered me a scholarship this week,” said the 6-foot-6, 250-pound two-way player who runs the 40-yard dash in 4.8 seconds.

Does Hannah have any favorites?
“I am wide open right now. I want to see what each of the schools has to offer.”
What does Hannah look for in a school?
“I am looking for the combination of good academics and solid athletics. I would like to play basketball in college as well as football. I also want to go somewhere that I find interesting.”
Will distance play a factor in Hannah’s decision?
“I really don’t want to travel to far from home, but if a school captivates me, distance will become less of a factor. I won’t rule anyone out on distance alone but it may play in the favor of the closer schools.”
Hannah currently carries a 2.9 GPA and took the SAT on March 27.
