Three-star defensive end Adewale Ojomo out of Hialeah, Fla. took his first official visit of the season to North Carolina State. The 6-foot-4, 217-pounder had a perfect visit to Raleigh.
"I'd probably rate my trip a 10," he said. "I felt comfortable around the people there and everything went well. I was able to talk to the coaches and players and the see the campus.
"My host on the trip was Willie Young. He's a real cool guy that told me a lot about the coaches and basically said he was really happy to be there. I also talked with the coaches including coach Stroud and Chuck Amato. Coach Amato said that I'm needed to come in as a rush end like Manny Lawsom."

The No. 31 weakside defensive end in the country was particularly impressed with State's big victory over Boston College.
"It was a good game and I liked the atmosphere a lot," he said. "They have a lot of loyal fans and a really nice defense. I didn't expect the defense to run that many stunts, but it was nice to see."
With his first visit behind him, Ojomo now has two more trips scheduled.
"I'm planning to go to Pittsburgh on October 21st and then Miami on December 8th," he said. "I'm still debating on a trip to Georgia and right now I'm wide open.
"On my future visits, I want to see more and ask the coaches a lot of questions. I want to feel comfortable around the coaches too."
