Athlete Jamar Bryant has had an eye on Chuck Amato's Wolfpack program for a while now, and NC State is his current leader. Who else is he considering?
"NC State is still definitely my favorite," said Bryant, a 6-foot-3, 195-pound athlete/dual-threat quarterback from Rockingham (N.C.) Richmond County. "I've liked them for a really long time and nothing has changed that. I love what Coach Amato is doing and I think if I went there I could compete for a championship. They use their athletes really well, whether it's as a defensive back or receiver."
Bryant recently received an offer from the Pack. He has also been offered by Michigan, North Carolina, Clemson, Georgia, Virginia, Nebraska, Duke and East Carolina.
"North Carolina is another in-state school I'll give a lot of consideration to," he said. "They aren't going to be down for too long. Georgia has some great fans and they're in a great conference. They finally broke through and won the SEC last year, so they have what it takes to succeed. And Clemson is a great program. The people love football down there."
Bryant plans on taking an official visit to Clemson on January 9th, and will take more officials after the season.
