NC State Leads For Safety

Safety Garland Heath still says NC State is a solid leader, but it is not a done deal -- even with a visit to Raleigh last weekend.
"I would like to go somewhere with a teammate," says Heath, a standout from Belle Glade (Fla.) Glades Central.

Maybe a teammate like Santonio Holmes, who also visited NC State the same weekend.
"It would be fun to play with him," the 6-foot-2, 190-pound senior said. “We’ve talked about it.”
So if NC State has such a commanding lead, why not commit to them now?
“I really want to take my time with it,” he explained “I'm going to visit Purdue and Rutgers in January, and Clemson recently started to pick up their interest -- even offering a scholarship. "I'm going to wait until late January to make a decision."
