NC State a perfect 10

Ahoskie (N.C.) Hertford County athlete LaMarcus Bond took his first official visit of the season in-state to Raleigh to see North Carolina State. What did the 5-foot-8, 174-pounder with 4.4-second speed think of the Wolfpack?
"It was a great visit," he said. "I liked everything, the campus, program and people. My host on the trip was Levin Neal. He's a great guy and we got along really well. On the trip I went to a banquet, met with different academic people and just hung out with my host.

"I even got to meet one-on-one with coach Amato. That was great because he mostly talked about the academic programs and how he tries to get his players to graduate and stuff. He also told me about how they'd use me and essentially he said I could play anywhere I want which is great."
The versatile three-star prospect enjoyed talking to the other coaches too.
"I liked all of them including coach Dixon, Diaz, Dunlap, Cignetti and Portee," he said. "I really liked their attitude and it really seemed like they care about the program."
Bond rated his trip to North Carolina State a perfect 10.
"I really enjoyed myself a lot," he said. "They were always in my top five and this visit still keeps them in there. I'd say I'm still looking at East Carolina, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Miami though. I just don't know about visits with them yet, I haven't really gotten around to it. I'm sure they'll all be sometime in January."
Last week the No. 9 player in North Carolina had in-home visits from East Carolina and North Carolina.
"They went really well and just talked with me, but nothing really stood out from the meeting."
