Bond also recently made a visit to East Carolina. What did he think of the Pirates?
"It was alright," he said. "They told us about the academics and facilites, but nothing really stuck out about the visit."
Bond plans to take another junior day in April to Virginia Tech as well as the Nike Camp at Virginia Tech too.
Right now he's also hearing from Boston College recently.
Does he have any favorites in the early parts of recruiting?
"I'm really looking at Miami, Virginia Tech and Michigan State," he said. "There's really no reason why they stand out, I just like them."
Besides taking in junior days and camps, Bond is also working out in preparation for next year.
"It is track season right now and it's going good."
Other schools Bond is hearing from include Florida State, Miami, Georgia and North Carolina.
Bond attended the All-American Combine in San Antonio in January.
Last season he ran 100 times for 922 yards and 18 touchdowns, he added 16 receptions for 394 yards and five touchdowns. On special teams, he posted three kickoff returns and three punt returns for touchdowns. Bond went on to be named AAA Player of the Year for the conference and all-state athlete.
