NC guard favors three

Offensive guard Sean Allen out of Wilson (N.C.) James B. Hunt took visits this summer to East Carolina, Wake Forest, North Carolina and Virginia Tech. Who stood out to the 6-foot-4, 285-pounder?
"North Carolina and Virginia Tech really stood out from the visits," he said. "At Carolina, I got to work with coach Hunter. I like him because he doesn't hold anything back, he says what he really sees in you. At Virginia Tech, I got to work with coach Wiles and I liked that because he's a really good guy."

Currently, Allen holds a lone offer from the Hokies.
"I like the campus and the coaching staff there, but I'm not sure what I really want to do now."
Besides Tech, the lineman is very interested in North Carolina and Wake Forest.
"I like that North Carolina is close to home and of course I like the coaching staff with coach Hunter and Bunting," he said. "I like the team itself at Wake Forest. They are up and coming and looking pretty good."
Allen plans to take all five official visits sometime this fall and he did confirm that most likely he will travel to his three favorites.
Early in his recruitment, the all-conference prospect was planning to get his decision done by July.
"I was planning to decide before the season, but I'm pushing that back," he said. "Now I might be looking after the season or something."
Allen's first game of the season is on August 19th.
"I'm really looking forward to getting back to state this year," he said. "I don't really have any goals for myself. I just want to take it one game at a time. I probably need to work on my pass blocking and speed a little more this year particularly because my team mostly runs, so I want to adjust to doing that before college."
Allen is a solid student with a 3.3 GPA and 880 SAT.
