NC FB drawing ACC and SEC attention

Charlotte (N.C.) Providence fullback Tim Frye is drawing interest from the ACC and the SEC. Frye, a bruising fullback prospect, has just returned from a trip to North Carolina. Who is recruiting the talented fullback?
"Tim is drawing heavy interest from Virginia, NC State, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia Tech, Wake Forrest, Duke, Georgia, Clemson, and Auburn," said Gene Frye of his 6-foot-0, 238-pound son who runs the 40-yard dash in 4.7 seconds.

What schools is Frye most interested in?
"I would say that Tim is most interested in North Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, Auburn, and Clemson. We were at North Carolina this weekend and Tim was very impressed with the Tarheels. Tim's brother wrestles at Auburn so he is familiar with that school as well," said his father Gene.
Last season, Frye racked up 427 yards on 59 carries and rushed for seven touchdowns. He also added four receptions for 104 yards and a touchdown. Frye also played linebacker last season. He finished his junior season with 56 tackles, one sack, one fumble recovery. What position are schools recruiting Frye to play?
"He is a fullback all the way. Coaches have compared him to Mike Alstott. Some schools even like him as a running back due to his speed and his hands. He could possibly develop into a linebacker but this was his first year playing the position, including parks and recreation," said Gene Frye.
Frye currently has a 3.7 GPA and has scored 1,190 on the SAT.
