Navasota more than a two-man show

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The small school division of the Texas State 7 on 7 tournament was won by the talented Navasota High School program. With LSU commit Dexter Pratt and Texas A&M commit Brandal Jackson on the squad it is easy to see why. However, it was more than just the two major commitments making an impact. Wide receiver Antron Harris also had a major impact on the tournament.
The 6-foot-2, 180 pound wide receiver has spent much of his summer working out and preparing for the fall.

"I've been in the weight room at least three times a week," Harris said. "I'm trying to get bigger."
Though he has yet to attend any camps, he does have a few on his schedule for the remainder of the summer.
"Next week I'm supposed to go to Southern miss and Texas A&M," he said. "I'm getting mail from Texas State, Louisiana Tech and Texas A&M."
While he has good size, Harris also has good speed with a 4.5 40 time. His personal goals for the 2008 season are very simple.
"Last season was pretty good," he said. "I'd say after I got some contact I was a better player. My goals for this season is hopefully to have a better year than last year."
