Natson commits to Utah State

Lauderdale Lakes (Fla.) Boyd Anderson wide receiver Bruce Natson held offers from Florida A&M, Florida International, Ohio, and Utah State. The 5-foot-8, 165-pound wide receiver was ready to make a decision and announced his intentions on Monday evening.
"I committed to Utah State," Natson said. "I felt I could go up there and start as a true freshman because of the wide receiver depth. I feel like I can go up there and definitely contribute as a true freshman."

Natson talked about informing the Utah State staff of his decision.
"I told Coach (Jovon) Bouknight, the wide receivers coach," Natson said. "He was amazed because he told me that he was waiting for me to commit. So I guess with my commit, I shocked them and made them feel good."
The South Florida product hasn't yet made his way to Logan, Utah to check out the program and campus, but said he has utilized the internet and some close friends to find out more about the Aggies' program.
"As soon as they offered me I did a lot of research," Natson said. "I was looking up there records from previous years, their school population, the city, and I have some friends from Boyd Anderson that are up there and they told me about it as well."
In the near future Natson intends to make his way to his future home to learn more about it up-close and personal.
"I haven't seen the school yet," Natson said. "I am supposed to go up there next month for a visit."
At the next level Natson will likely contribute as a slot wide receiver and on special teams.
