Alief (Texas) Taylor tight end Martellus Bennett has altered his visit calendar again.
“There isn’t a whole lot new going on,” the 6-foot-7, 237-pound Bennett said. “I have been talking to Cal a lot. They are visiting with me about may visiting there. I don’t have anything set up right now, though. They have told me I could play both sports like Tony Gonzalez did for them several years ago.
“I would like to do both sports, if I can. If it won’t work, then I guess I’ll go with just one, but my main thought right now is to play both sports.”

Bennett’s next trip is a December 10 trip to Miami, a school the nation’s top rated tight end had been committed to at one time.
“I did have a trip scheduled for this weekend,” he said. “But, I’m not going to Arizona. We have a basketball game on Saturday and practice on Friday, so I can’t get to it. I haven’t re-scheduled it, and I don’t know when it will be, or if I will. Probably the next trip I take will be to Miami next month.”
