Nations top guard remains open

One of the nation’s top-rated offensive lineman says he’s in no hurry to give any hints about his possible college destination.
“It’s just not something I’m really focused on right now,” said four-star Tallahassee (Fla.) Lincoln guard Calvin Darity. “I don’t have any top five or top 10 teams, and I’m not real sure when I’ll decide. I haven’t set a time in my mind. It will probably be after the season.”

Darity (6-4, 275, 4.9) says he’s received calls from Auburn, North Carolina, Syracuse, Maryland, Florida State, Florida and Central Florida in recent weeks.
He’s yet to set any official visits.
“I’m considering everybody who has offered at this point,” he said.
Schools on that list include the likes of Florida State, Florida, Auburn, Alabama, Maryland, LSU, Nebraska, North Carolina, Syracuse, Ohio State and Tennessee.
Asked if the hometown Seminoles would be hard to beat, Darity said: “No, I wouldn’t say that. I haven’t put them at the top or the bottom. They’re just one of a bunch of good schools I’m thinking about.”
A member of the Rivals100 Team and the No. 1 rated guard in the nation, Darity has helped lead Lincoln to a 4-0 record this season. He said he’s graded out at 80 percent or higher in each game.
As a junior, he recorded 57 pancake blocks and 48 "de-cleaters" while grading out at a rock-solid 88 percent.
Not only is he a premier athlete, but Darity also carries a 3.89 GPA and has scored an 1100 on the SAT.
