Alief (Texas) Hastings defensive tackle Rodrique Wright will be ranked as the No. 2 player in the state of Texas when Rivals100 releases its national rankings on Monday. So it's no wonder why almost every team in the nation is after him.
But there still is one team that holds the lead.
"Texas is the team to beat," Wright, who is 6-foot-5 and 324 pounds, said.
"It's close to home, and they have a lot of good players. They also need help with the defensive tackle position."
But Wright hasn't closed the book on other teams. He said LSU, Oklahoma, Kansas State and Texas A&M are also likely to get visits.
