Nations top DT commits

Irvington, N.J. defensive tackle Nate Robinson has made his college choice.
"I'm going to Miami," said the 6-foot-4, 319-pounder who visited the Hurricanes this weekend. "I committed while I was at the airport before I left. I just couldn't say no, Miami was too nice."

Robinson, who had offers from more than 50 programs, had visited Rutgers and Syracuse and had visits set with North Carolina and Maryland. However, the 'Canes were his top choice all along.
"It was always Miami, but the other schools did a great job recruiting me," he said. "Rutgers was great and made me think about staying home and Syracuse was a great visit. I also liked the coaches at North Carolina and Maryland as well as some others, but my recruiting coach at Miami, Vernon Hargreaves was a great person and I fit in well on my visit. I just fell in love."
