Nations top DE likes the calls

He's the nation's top strongside defensive end prospect, and he's also one of the hottest targets in the entire Southeast. So what's the latest with Hernando, Miss., standout Deljuan Robinson?
"Well, I still like about the same schools," Robinson said. "You can keep Mississippi State, LSU, Georgia, Kentucky, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Auburn and Tennessee.

"And don't forget to put Southern Miss there, too. They're recruiting me hard."
Who is recruiting him the hardest?
"I would say probably Miss State and Auburn," Robinson said. "They are always sending me hand-written letters and calling me when they can. I really like what Mississippi State does. They let me talk to almost every coach on the staff when they call. That's cool."
As a junior, Robinson had 115 tackles, five sacks, two fumble recoveries and two forced fumbles.
Robinson said he's racked up around 60 tackles at this point and eight sacks - playing mainly at middle linebacker.
"I want to play linebacker, but I know with my size that I will probably have to put my hand on the ground in college," Robinson said. "I have to be smart about that."
The blue-chip defensive end has a significant amount of work to be done in order to qualify academically. He sports a 2.5 grade point average but he scored a 13 on his first ACT attempt.
