Nations No. 1 adds a visit

Scottsdale (Ariz.) City College five-star defensive tackle Louis Holmes said last week he was going to set up official visits to both Florida and Florida State. After talking to both schools earlier this week, he's got one of the two Florida schools set up.
"I'm now going to Florida on December 9," said Holmes, who is 6-foot-5 and 280-pounds and ranked as the top junior college player in the nation by Rivals.com.

"I'm going to Florida State, too, some time in December, but I don't know if it's the weekend before or the weekend after Florida at this point."
Holmes said he's looking forward to the visit to Florida. He's being recruited by Gator assistant coach John Holliday.
"I'm just now getting to learn more and more about them," Holmes said.
"They recruited me a little bit when I was coming out of high school and prep school, so I'll be interested to see what it's like there."
Holmes is still set to visit LSU on November 25. He's also pumped about that visit and said Karl Dunbar continues to do a good job of recruiting him.
Holmes also has already visited USC back on October 7. Arizona, Oklahoma, Tennessee and UCLA are some other teams he's talking about possibly visiting with his final trip.
