Nashville home to another big WR

The Music City has another big wide receiver prospect.
In the tradition of Patrick Turner, Nashville's Pearl-Cohn High is home to 6-foot-5, 225-pound wide receiver Rashad Mason.
"I would compare myself to (Turner)," Mason said. "They way I play, you just throw it up and I will go get it."
Currently, Mason does not have the recruiting hoopla surrounding him that Turner had when he came out of Goodpasture High School two recruiting classes ago, but that should change.
"I've been getting letters from a lot of schools," Mason said. "Illinois, Auburn, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Middle Tennessee State, Army and Tennessee all have written."
Mason hasn't had a chance to make any unofficial visits. He just completed a basketball season in which he averaged 11.9 points per game from the power forward position.
Like Turner, Mason is interested in Southern California. The Trojans, along with Texas and Florida State, are his favorite schools at this point. Arizona State, Auburn and South Carolina also are schools he is interested in.
Mason plans on attending the Athens NIKE Camp April 29 on the campus of the University of Georgia.
