Naples knows three officials

Three-star tight end Mike Naples hasn't been heard from in a couple months. The 6-foot-4, 220-pounder out of Somerville, N.J. caught up with Rivals to discuss the latest including where he plans to head for officials.
"Things are going pretty good," he said. "I just got back from Vanderbilt recently. They offered me.

"I liked that a lot. I enjoyed myself and they have a great education down there. They are rebuilding. The coaches were great. They really care about you as a person and the facilities are very nice. They are adding on to what they have now."
Naples currently holds offers from Cincinnati, Akron, Army, East Carolina and Vanderbilt.
Is anybody else on the verge of offering?
"There are a few schools that want to wait to see my first two or three games. Those include North Carolina, Pittsburgh, Purdue and Michigan State."
Before summer wraps up, the No. 45 tight end in the country may try to check out Cincinnati.
At this time, Naples claims there is no clear leader.
"I can't say there's a No. 1," he said. "I'm looking for a great education, top facilities and great coaches. I want a great college town on game day too."
While he doesn't have leaders, the Garden State prospect does know three officials.
"I'm going to set ones up to Cincinnati, Vanderbilt and East Carolina. I haven't started to schedule them yet."
Naples begins practice on August 18th in preparation for a season opener against Immaculata on September 12th.
"I'm working hard to get better and faster. You can never be too good with your route running."
