ATLANTA — Early Saturday morning inside the Brock Family Indoor Facility at Georgia Tech, well over 200 athletes in middle schools from nine different states competed at the Middle School National Showcase.

Rivals.com was in attendance to identify some names you recruiting fans will be following and reading a lot about in the coming years. Yes, it is early, very early, but a list of players stood out throughout the event.

A lot of these young men still do not what high school they will be attending, but we want to put their names in front you to make sure you know what to expect in the future.

OFFENSE

If there was an early headliner in this group, it was quarterback Prentiss Nolan. The left-handed signal caller is a 2024 prospect and the 6-foot-2, 175 pounder already has an offer from Kentucky.

Other quarterbacks that stood out were Riley Scruggs and Zander Smith.

The running back group was strong and Makari Bodiford, Kameron "Kam" Davis land Jehden Robinson look to be on track to become big names down the road.

From the sixth graders to the eighth graders, many in the wide receiver/tight end group showcased ball skills. Some had size, some had quickness and the group that stood out here were KJ Bolen, Edward Coleman and Martavious Collins.

On the offensive line, Walt Flynn and Ivan Kynes stood out due to strength and development for their age.

DEFENSE

Starting up front at defensive line, and this could have been the best group there. There will be some dudes coming out of this group in a few years.

King Edwards, Kendall Farmer, Hevin Brown-Shuler and Omar White are four to know. To give you an idea of just how big some of these guys were, Brown-Shuler is already pushing 6-4 and 255 pounds.

At linebacker, Cornelius Heard Jr. (who also could project at running back) and Antonio Butts are two that jumped out.

Defensive back was another loaded group, and Kumaro Brown of Memphis (Tenn.) was arguably the top performer of the camp, not just defensive back. At 6-1 with length, he showed that he's going to be a name we talk about for many years to come.

Other defensive backs that had nice days were AJ Cromartie (elite 2025 talent), Zion Ferguson and Jabari Jones.

There was other talented prospects there, and many from this event will emerge as Division 1 prospects you read a lot about on Rivals.com in the coming years.
