N.Y. star Worthington favors OSU

"I just talked to (Ohio State assistant) coach Daniels about five minutes ago," Athol Springs (N.Y.) Saint Francis defensive end Doug Worthington said on Wednesday night. "He asked how I was doing. How things are going."
"Most definitely I'll make an official visit to Ohio State. Probably in December. That's a lock. And I want to go to the Ohio State-Michigan game. I've got to do that."

"Obviously I'm looking at Ohio State. And Wisconsin, Pitt, Penn State, LSU, Tennessee, Florida, and Boston College too. I have a good list of schools. I have offers from all of them."
"Ohio State is my favorite. Last year they set a record for guys going to the pro's. And a couple of my family members live down in Ohio. Ohio State has the edge over everyone."
The 6-foot-7 and 256 pound Worthington has been a varsity starter on both sides of the ball since his freshman year. He made seven tackles including one and a half sacks during the opening game of this season.
Worthington is the No. 5 strongside defensive end prospect in the Rivals.com player rankings and the No. 4 overall prospect in the state of New York.
