N.J. center gets second offer

Brandon Vitabile picked up his second offer in a week. Vitabile, 6-1 and 293 pounds, is from Edison (N.J.) Bishop Ahr. Syracuse was his first scholarship offer. Then he visited Nashville and Vanderbilt offered him.
"I am really excited about this offer," Vitabile said. "They will send it in the mail. I had a great visit. I went around school and it seemed nice. The campus was incredible. I am interested in pre-med and I saw the pediatrics building, the hospital and library. I met about five players. They were all very nice.

"I had a meeting with coach (Robbie) Caldwell. He really gets into it. I sat down with coach (Bobby) Johnson for about 10 minutes. We had a conversation about football and academics. Overall, it was a great visit."
So now with two offers in the books does he have a favorite between the Orangemen and Commodores or do the two stand even?
"They are both great academically and programs on the rise. I have a lot to think about now and in the future because they are two great schools and I am very interested in both of them. They are co-favorites and it's nice to know that I am wanted."
Vitabile is hearing from other schools like Penn State, Rutgers, Georgia Tech, and Wake Forest. Today, he also heard from Tennessee.
"I spoke with coach (James) Cregg today. They want me to come to their camp. Right now there are a bunch of camps I want to go to but it all depends on school. Our school doesn't end until the end of June."
