N.C. State offers 2015 QB

Class of 2015 Durham (N.C.) Southern Durham quarterback Kendall Hinton is used to hearing that he's not tall enough to play quarterback at the next level. But the 6-foot, 180-pounder has made a believer out of two BCS programs already, with several others showing strong interest.
Hinton has held an offer from Duke for a while, but recently N.C. State joined the list of schools that believe Hinton is a quarterback.

"They offered me when I went up for the ECU game," Hinton said. "They told me they want me at quarterback and that means a lot because some schools question me because of my height so it feels good that they believe in me."
While the Wolfpack are clearly in rebuild mode under first-year head coach Dave Doeren, Hinton said he expects things to turn around soon.
"I know they're a pretty strong program overall," he said. "They're struggling now but they let me know that they're young and they've had a lot of injuries and they expect things to change so I'll continue to consider them going forward."
The team that was playing the Wolfpack when Hinton was in town, East Carolina is also starting to show more interest.
"They were really after me during the summer but then they faded out," Hinton said. "Now they're starting to pick things back up. They're sending a lot of mail. I'm not really banking on an offer from them soon but I have seen the attention pick up."
Like most quarterbacks, Hinton is planning a busy spring and summer. He said he plans on camping at Clemson, Florida State and West Virginia.
This week Hinton will visit North Carolina for their regular season finale against Duke.
