N.C. State impresses Florida OL

Miami Krop two-star offensive tackle Chris Rutledge did indeed take an official visit to N.C. State this weekend, but instead of flying like many other recruits, he drove to Raleigh, N.C., so his mother could go with him.
“I just talked to them and they’re driving back and won’t be home until late tonight,” Rutledge’s brother, Cory, said. “I talked with a few minutes with Chris. He said he really liked N.C. State a lot. I don’t think he committed or anything, but he was talking about all the food he ate.”
Rutledge has already visited Pittsburgh and is set in January to visit Florida on January 9, Rutgers on January 23 and then Miami on January 30. Rutledge didn’t claim a leader before the official visit but did tell Rivals.com that he did have a leader “in mind.”
