N.C. receiver still favors two

Charlotte (N.C.) Phillip O Berry Academy of Technology wide receiver Kedrick Davis still has two schools at the top of his list.
That could change very soon, however, as the 5-foot-10, 165-pound receiver plans on hitting the road and visiting schools for the first time.

For a little while Davis has listed Kentucky and North Carolina as his favorites. The Wildcats have made Davis a high priority for a long time, while the Tar Heels have been expressing interest and recently offered.
"They're still at the top but it's still open right now because I haven't been on any visits," Davis said, referring to UK and UNC.
Davis said he can't put one school ahead of the other at this point.
NC State offered Davis on Friday and he plans on visiting NC State on July 25. That trip will follow visits to North Carolina (July 10-11) and Kentucky (July 17). He's also trying to plan a trip to Virginia.
When might a decision be coming?
"I'm thinking I'll maybe have something by the end of the summer," he concluded.
Davis was outstanding at the N.C. VTO Sports Elite 100 combine earlier this year, running the 40-yard dash in 4.40 seconds and registering a 38-inch vertical.
