Myers going back and forth

Cordova, Tenn., offensive guard Darius Myers was sitting on two scholarship offers midway through the summer. Now that football practices are underway, he’s added even more offers.
“I have offers now from Arkansas, Memphis and Clemson,” Myers, who is 6-foot-4 ½ and 315 pounds, said. “LSU is also really close to offering me. They’re showing me more interest.”

Myers is kind of torn about his favorites. One second he likes Clemson, LSU and then Memphis. It’s just part of the confusion that comes with being the No. 20 player in Tennessee according to Rivals.com.
“LSU is back on top,” Myers said. “They’re showing me more interest, and I also really like Clemson. Clemson is also there, and I have a former teammate going over there. Memphis is also right there, too. I guess you can say I like them all at this point. It’s kind of hard for me to decide.”
What is crystal clear is the Myers has worked hard this summer and is seeing that hard work pay off with improvement on the football field.
“I’m better at my technique,” he said. “I’m perfect at it now. At least that’s what the coaches are telling me. I think I also have a faster first step. I can now beat the linebackers to the spot.”
