My trip to Nebraska

Editor's Note: The Recruits’ Rap is a semi-regular feature from Rivals100.com.
It’ll feature the nation’s top recruits talking about what’s going on in the recruiting process in their own words.

This installment is from four-star offensive tackle Brett Gallimore of Riverside (Mo.) Park Hill South. Gallimore talks his unofficial visit to Nebraska and what the next month will hold for him.
I received 75 pieces of mail this week and about 10 e-mails.
I took an unofficial visit to Nebraska to watch the Oklahoma StateCowboys and Huskers. It was a good game with some early season mistakes, but the visit was good.
My parents and I had lunch before the game and I found out that Lance Brandenburgh had committed to Nebraska in June. Lance and his parents were at our table during lunch and are great people.
We were able to go down on the field before the game and that was interesting.
After the game we met with Scott Downing (my recruiter), Barney Cotton (offensive line coach) and Coach Solich. We were also able to meet and talk to the other coaches after the game. I was impressed with their attitude and enthusiasm.
My dad had a chance to talk with Michael Keenan of Oak Park, who has also committed to Nebraska. (Michael is a great player.) He is very happy with his decision.
All in all, the visit went very well and Nebraska is still very much in the running.
My next visit may be at Florida State on Sept. 6. We still have to work out the arrangements. I will be in Michigan on Sept. 13. and Iowa on Sept. 20.
