Mustipher checks out Miami

Olney (Md.) Good Counsel offensive guard Sam Mustipher has been busy this summer and he recently checked out an ACC school that has been showing serious interest.
Mustipher, a Class of 2014 prospect, has camped at Ohio State, Penn State and Virginia this summer, and according to his father - Sam Mustipher Sr. - he took a trip down to Miami just recently.

"He just visited Miami 's coaches last week on Thursday," Mustipher's father said. "He loved it. He absolutely loved his visit. He enjoyed his experience with the coaches and the campus. It was definitely a very good visit for him."
The 6-foot-4, 286-pound guard already has offers from Ohio State, NC State, Maryland, Rutgers and West Virginia.
Maryland will obviously make Mustipher a huge priority as an in-state recruit. He didn't camp with the Terps because their camp date conflicted with his previously-scheduled camp at Ohio State. He plans on making up for that soon.
"He's going to Maryland's campus here within the next couple of weeks," his father continued. "He won't be going to their camp but he will be at the school."
He has two other trips in mind but those will probably have to wait until the fall.
"I doubt if he can do it before he starts football practice but I think he's going to visit Michigan and Clemson," he said. "That should be sometime during the season."
Mustipher's father said his son doesn't have any favorites yet but he may start to think in those terms after all of the visits discussed above.
