"I picked up an offer from Marshall," Murriel said. "I found out when Coach (JaJuan) Seider told me that they were going to offer me. He told me to get online and look them up. I just got online and looked up the school. It looks like a good place up there. It looks like it has a lot to do and to offer."
In addition to Marshall, the 6-foot-5, 302-pound offensive tackle is also hearing from Central Florida, Florida Atlantic, Florida International, Georgia Southern, Georgia State, Iowa State, Miami, Memphis, South Florida, and West Virginia.
When it comes time to select a school, his major will play a key role in his decision.
"I want to pursue sports management," Murriel said. "That has always been what I have wanted to do."
This summer, Murriel said he plans to visit Marshall and Central Florida for sure.
