Murphy happy with offer list

Kyle Murphy is certainly willing to accept more offers but the San Clemente, Calif., offensive tackle already has such an extensive list that he's getting ready to start narrowing his focus over the next few months.
If more schools want to get involved Murphy said he wouldn't be opposed to learning more about different programs but that he's not necessarily waiting on any other teams to offer.

"I'm not really waiting on anybody else," Murphy said.
"I'm satisfied with the list I have. I'm just going to hang out a little bit and then I plan to narrow it down to a handful."
So far, Arizona State, Auburn, Cal, Colorado, Duke, Michigan, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oregon, SMU, Stanford, UCLA, USC, Utah and Washington have offered the 6-foot-7, 275-pound prospect who's included in the Rivals 250 to watch for 2012. He's considered one of the top offensive linemen on the West Coast.
There is still some time for teams to get involved though. Murphy, who's expected to attend the Elijah Asante Trenchman Academy this weekend in Los Angeles, doesn't plan to start narrowing his school list until this summer.
Then Murphy wants to take some official visits during his senior season before finally making his decision. The San Clemente standout has already taken unofficial trips to numerous campuses including USC, Cal and Stanford. More trips are expected soon.
He plans to visit Oregon next month for its junior day and then head to Washington during that trip to check in with the Huskies. Many other visits - including some official ones - are expected to happen before Murphy makes his commitment during his senior year.
