Multiple prospects at Palm Bay
MELBOURNE, Fla.- In addition to Rivals250 to watch linebacker/safety prospect Ramon Buchanon, Palm Bay High has several more Division I-A prospects in the Class of 2008.
Athlete Darren Sewell will play quarterback for Palm Bay this year, but he projects as a safety or wide receiver in college. The 6-foot, 181-pounder already holds an early scholarship offer from South Carolina and has interest from Central Florida and Florida.

Running back Stephan Mercer isn't the tallest prospect at his position but the 5-foot-8, 165-pounder hits the hole hard and has good speed.
Wide receiver/safety Trevell Brown could emerge as a Division I-A prospect. The 6-foot, 175-pounder is a good athlete, competing on the Palm Bay track and field team, competing in the 300-meter hurdles, the 110-meter hurdles, the long jump and the triple jump.
A native of New Orleans, Brown likes LSU. Miami (Fla.), Wake Forest and Tulane also are schools Brown has interest in.
"I'm just looking for a good team and a college that I can go to for computer engineering," Brown said.
Center Jess Williams is getting plenty of attention by way of mail. Auburn, Georgia Tech, Mississippi State, Florida State, Connecticut, Vanderbilt and Indiana are among the schools sending the 6-foot, 280-pounder letters.
He has or plans to attend junior day events at Auburn, Mississippi State, Vanderbilt and Georgia Tech.
"Academics and location are important," Williams said. "I want to major in business management and I don't want to leave the South."
Offensive lineman David Daney has interest in Auburn, Georgia Tech, Duke and Illinois. The 6-foot-2, 290-pounder isn't getting much attention other than letters at this time, but could possibly emerge during the forthcoming football season.
