Multiple offers for South Carolina DE

Beaufort (S.C.) defensive end Devin Taylor currently holds four scholarship offers from Atlantic Coast Conference and Southeastern Conference programs. The 6-foot-6, 215-pound jumbo athlete talked about his suitors and some of his summer plans in this exclusive interview with Rivals.com.
"I have offers from South Carolina, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest and Duke," Taylor said, adding that in-state Division I-AA programs Furman, The Citadel and Presbyterian also had offered.

The offer from the Gamecocks was extended on Sunday. Taylor was in Columbia during the weekend checking out the campus. Shane Beamer is recruiting Taylor for South Carolina.
"Right now they are rebuilding their team and their school," Taylor said. "They are making it to where athletes will get a better education there. They have got a lot to offer and I learned a lot about the school during the weekend."
Charley Wiles is recruiting Taylor for the Hokies.
"They are a very good school athletically," Taylor said. "They've also got a very good record in Division I-A during the last few years."
Taylor added that he intends on taking an unofficial visit to Blacksburg in July.
This weekend, Taylor will head to the North Carolina research triangle to check out Duke and Wake Forest. He will see the Blue Devils this Friday and the Demon Deacons this Saturday.
"Both of those schools are very good academically," Taylor said. "Wake Forest is a little more successful athletically than Duke is."
Taylor, who projects as a defensive end or tight end in college, has no current favorites.
"I'm still sorting everything out," he said.
Taylor had 80 tackles and four sacks during his junior season.
