Muldoon has SEC offer

Joe Muldoon of Hyattsville (Md.) DeMatha Catholic is starting to look at taking his official visits.
The 6-foot-6, 273-pounder is planning visits with Army, Delaware and Vanderbilt in January, but currently holds a lone offer from the Commodores. Muldoon also mentioned that he’d like to take all five visits and the schools that are vying for the other two spots include Pittsburgh, Navy, Villanova, William and Mary and Cincinnati.

This past weekend Muldoon unofficially visited Delaware and said, “Delaware looks like a pretty good school and they care a lot about their program.”
Muldoon helped lead DeMatha Catholic to a 10-1 record and the championship victory on Nov. 21st. He was also named first team all-WCAC. He has also been invited to participate in the Super 44 game on June 11th.
“The team really came together towards the end. I’m going to miss not playing with these guys for the next four years.”
So what is the lineman looking for out of a school?
“I want a school that has good academics, a good tradition and a school where I can compete on the field and in the classroom.”
Muldoon is expecting a visit from coach Kelly of the Naval Academy on Dec. 6, but has no other in-homes set.
As for when he’ll make a decision, he said, “I kind of want to get it out of the way, because it can be a hassle, but I won't rush into anything."
