Mueller makes his choice

Mars, Pa. cornerback Brad Mueller has made his choice. So will it be the Big Ten or Big East?
"Brad decided to commit to Boston College today," said Paul Mueller, the father of the 6-foot-0, 170-pounder. "It was a tough decision for him, but it came down to location and academics. Brad wanted to be near a big city and wanted to get good degree in case football didn't work out."

Mueller chose the Eagles over Wisconsin and an former Boston College coach did the Eagles a service.
"We called coach Shoop last night and spoke to him for about an hour," he said of former BC defensive backs coach Bob Shoop, who left to take the head coaching job at Columbia a few weeks back. "He was our favorite recruiting coach and when he left BC, it really changed some things. But he assured us about the rest of the staff and made us feel comfortable. It was a hard decision, but Brad felt he wanted more than just football and BC's academic reputation is great."
Mueller is one of the fastest players in the state of Pennsylvania with a 4.31-second 40-yard dash (at NIKE Camp) and a 10.65-second 100-meters time.
