MSU offers NJ LB

Jamie Gordinier's offer sheet has steadily increased in size. Earlier this week the linebacker from Red Bank (N.J.) Red Bank Catholic added an offer from Michigan State.
"I know Michigan State won the Rose Bowl," said the 6-foot-4, 235-pound Gordinier. "I love the 4-3 over defense they run. I know it's a pretty good academic school too. I know the history of the school and they've been winning a lot of games these past few years and coach Narduzzi, who is recruiting me, is doing a great job. Coach Narduzzi came to my school two or three months ago. I've been staying contact with him over Facebook every week or two."

Gordinier already had some visits scheduled but this offer may have altered his visit plans.
"I'll be in Miami on Friday," he said. "On April 2 to April 4 I'll be at Northwestern. I'll be at Maryland April 9 and April 10. I'll take more visits over my spring break.
"I haven't been to Michigan State and I wasn't planning on visiting," Gordinier said. "Now that I have the offer I might visit some time over my spring break, which is late April."
A number of other schools are staying in touch with Gordinier.
"Rutgers is always on top of me," he said. "I probably get messages from Rossi and Panagos everyday. I'm always in contact with Duke, Boston College, Miami, Northwestern, Virginia and Maryland."
Some of Gordinier's othes offers include Pittsburgh, West Virginia, Cincinnati and others.
