MSU leads for Jersey OL

Voorhees (N.J.) Eastern Regional offensive tackle Phil Trautwein has two more official visits scheduled, but the Spartans lead the way for his services.
"I liked everything about MSU when I visited," said the 6-foot-6, 280-pounder who took his trip on Sept. 26. "The coaches, the fact that it's an up-and-coming program, the players and that it's a great school. They're my favorite right now."

However, Trautwein isn't ready to make a decision just yet.
"I have an official visit set to Boston College on Nov. 7 and I go to Iowa on Dec. 12," he said. "My last two visits will be to either Virginia, Virginia Tech, Maryland and Tennessee. Everyone except the Vols has offered."
Trautwein, who averages more than 10 pancake blocks per game in leading his team to a 4-2 record, wants a school with a great offensive line tradition and a good atmosphere.
"Most of the schools on my list send players to the NFL," he said. "That's a big part of things for me because it's a goal of mine."
