Moye considers a couple other schools

Three-star wide receiver Derek Moye out of Rochester, Pa. continues to have three schools leading for his services. Despite that, the 6-foot-4, 182-pounder isn't close to making a decision as he plans to take his official visits.
"My top three schools are still Pittsburgh, Penn State and Boston College," he said. "I really like those schools for different reasons. Penn State has a good history there and they play in the Big Ten in front of 100,000 people every week. Pittsburgh is close to home and they are rebuilding with coach Wannstedt. Finally, Boston College plays in the ACC and Boston is a real nice city."

Though Moye claims those schools are leading, it appears other programs are still in the mix.
"I'm still looking at Michigan State and West Virginia some," he said. "Neither of them has offered me, but I've talked to the coaches from both schools on a regular basis. If they do offer they probably would jump into the mix."
As for a decision, the No. 57 wide receiver in the country is going to wait a while.
"I think I'm going to wait until after the season," he said. "I want to take all my official visits during the year and see if other schools jump into my top five. Then I can make a decision."
While recruiting is moving along nicely, Moye is focusing most of his attention on his team.
"Our first game is on Friday when we play Kennedy Catholic," he said. "I look forward to getting back on the field and deliver a championship for our team especially since we lost it last year.
"In the scrimmages I've played I've had four touchdowns. I can see a big improvement in all my abilities after working out over the summer. In particular, I think I've gotten a little faster."
