Moye adds three offers

Rochester, Pa. wide receiver Derek Moye added three new offers in the past few weeks. Who did the 6-foot-5, 180-pounder get the scholarships from and does he have any favorites at this time?
"I just picked up offers from Akron and Miami (Ohio) this week and Temple last week," he said. "I don't know too much about Miami and Temple, but I know Akron is a good school and I'm checking it out."

Currently three schools lead for Moye's services.
"I'd probably say I'm favoring Pittsburgh, Penn State and Iowa," he said. "I like Pittsburgh because I think they have a solid history of good receivers that have come out of there with Larry Fitzgerald and Antonio Bryant. I also think I have a real good chance of playing early if I go there and I already know the campus.
"I love Penn State's history. I think I could learn a lot of things from the young wide receivers they have there and the excellent coaching staff. As for Iowa, one of my high school coaches went there and he says great things about them."
The Keystone State prospect continues to receive interest from other schools including Boston College, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Cincinnati, West Virginia, Georgia Tech, Michigan and Michigan State. What is Moye looking for out of a program?
"I'm really looking for a school that has an offense that can get me noticed by pro scouts," he said. "I also want to be able to identify and get along with the coaches for four years."
Moye was named to the Pittsburgh Tribune's Terrific 25 as well as the conference MVP and an all-state selection after accounting for over 1,600 yards of offense and 27 touchdowns. He added four interceptions on defense.
