Mowry picks up first offer

Tavior Mowry showed off his skills at the Los Angeles NIKE Camp, he will attend the B2G Elite Camp this summer and in between recruiting has picked up for the Westlake Village (Calif.) Westlake running back who recently picked up his first offer.
Mowry, a 5-foot-9, 182-pound prospect, was offered by Air Force and he said he's thrilled that the Falcons have reached out to him.

Getting any offer is good but there seems to be legitimate interest in Air Force. Mowry hopes it could lead to many more in future months.
"It's huge to have an offer," Mowry said. "I'm only a junior so I'm pretty pumped about already having an offer and not having played one down in my senior season.
"The offer could lead to other colleges actually looking at me as a player where they see I already have an offer so they know I'm obviously good enough to have an offer from Air Force."
Boise State and Fresno State are also sending mail to Mowry, who said Oregon has recently sent some letters as well.
That is all good news for the Westlake running back who said he hopes his recruitment picks up even more after attending some summer camps in the next few months. After a solid showing at the Los Angeles NIKE Camp, even more programs could be getting involved soon.
"It's really exciting because it seemed like two months after my junior year letters started coming and coming," Mowry said. "I was just surprised because I had never gotten any attention like that before."
