Movement helps Bradfords long term
It's been an interesting journey for safety Craig Bradford who started off his high school football career at one school and ended up at tradition-rich Baytown (Texas) Lee for his upcoming senior season.
Starting off at La Porte, the 6-foot-2, 200-pound defensive player utilized his talents at the linebacker position to become a solid starter for the Bulldogs. However, off the field things weren't going as well and a switch needed to be made.

"I moved over, one for family issues, and two to play with a team that really loves and wants to play the game of football," Bradford said. "It was just a month ago I got here and it's been great already."
"Some of these guys are already my friends or some I've known since I've been a kid, so it's been like coming home again."
Bradford's movement could have put a wrench in his recruitment, but a few schools have followed him from one program to another and seem very intrigued.
"I get mail from North Texas and North Dakota with some other ones, but I think it will pick up after this year. "When the season starts, I can guarantee you this, my name will be out there."
Making a few camps was not something that Bradford wanted to miss, but couldn't fit them into his schedule. He did, however, participate in the Fox Sports Net Southwest 7-on-7 state championship where his team took the title.
"I'm just working on my goals," he said. "One of them is by season's end to be a first-team all-district safety."
