Mouton talks about LSU trip

Los Angeles (Calif.) Venice defensive back Jonas Mouton took his third and possibly final official visit this past weekend to LSU. Mouton said he has five schools still on his list but is doubtful he'll take any more visits.
Mouton, a 6-2, 215 pound safety has already visited Nebraska and Michigan and said the visit to Baton Rouge ranks right up there with the others.

"To be honest, all the visits are pretty similar," Mouton said. "You talk to a lot of the players and coaches and get to know those guys a little better. You tour the campus, see the facilities, weight room, things like that. My dad lives in Louisiana so I got to see him for a little bit and that was cool. The thing I liked about all three visits is I got to go on a game weekend and the atmosphere at all three places was really good.
"As loud and crazy as it was at Nebraska and Michigan, I think LSU was probably the loudest of the three. The fans were so in to the game. They played really well and beat a good Florida team. It was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed myself. Ryan Perriloux was my host and he was real cool. We just hung out the whole time but never went out or anything. I'm not really into partying or staying out late so I was fine just kicking it at his place."
Along with the three schools he has visited, Mouton also has USC and Arizona on his short list.
"Everyone is still in it, I don't have a leader right now," Mouton said. "Honestly, I'm just real confused and I think all the schools would be a good fit for me. I know I'm pretty tired from all the trips, I don't know if people realize how exhausting they can be. I'm tired the whole week following a visit so I don't think I'll take any more trips.
"I've been to USC a bunch of times already and I know a lot about Arizona and have some former teammates there," Mouton said. "Right now, I'm not sure when I'll be ready to make my decision. I'm playing in the Army All-American game and there's a chance I might decide then but right now, I'm not sure if I'll know where I'm going at that time and I don't want to rush my decision just to be able to announce on T.V."
There has been some talk that USC might not be as appealing as the others since they have commitments from two other highly rated safeties in Taylor Mays and Antwine Perez but Mouton denied that.

I'm not afraid to compete and I'm not going to let someone else make the decision for me and by choosing a school because of where someone else is going is letting someone make my decision for me."Here to view this Link.
