Mouton names top three

One of the nation's top 100 prospects and a top five safety nationally is Los Angeles (Calif.) Venice standout Jonas Mouton. The talented defensive back has two official visits set up so far and said he has a solid top three list right now.
Mouton, 6 feet 2, 210 pounds is a big hitter who has the frame to project to linebacker in college if so needed. He'll play both spots this year as well as running back but said safety is where he wants to play in college.

On the recruiting front, Mouton has set visits to Nebraska (Sept. 2) and Michigan for (Sept. 9).
"My top three are LSU, Michigan and USC," Mouton said. "Nebraska is right there as well as I wouldn't be taking a visit there if I wasn't interested. For that last spot, I'm looking at Arizona, Oregon and Cal. Arizona has been recruiting me hard all along, Oregon has come on strong lately and with Cal, I'm tight with Desean Jackson and Gary Doxy who signed there last year and I'm interested to see what they have going on.
"I'm not sure if I'll take an official visit to USC because I've been there so many times. I was just there a few days ago so I could just take an unofficial visit there and not visit at all. At this point, I know I'll take at least three trips for sure, Nebraska, Michigan and LSU.
As for a timetable on my decision, as soon as I feel comfortable with the school and I know for sure that is the place for me, I'll commit. It could be after one visit or I could take all five visits. I really don't know right now but I won't drag it out and waste anyone's time, as soon I know, I'll end it right then."
