Mouton closing in on five
Galena Park (Texas) North Shore three-star cornerback Darius Mouton has already attracted scholarship offers from Colorado, Colorado State, Indiana, Iowa State, Nevada, Texas State, UTSA, Utah, Washington State, McNeese State, and Southeastern Louisiana.
At this point in the process the 5-foot-11, 170-pound defensive back is not quite ready to name any favorites or leaders, but it appears as though that could change in the very near future.

"Not yet, I'm working on narrowing them down," Mouton said. "I'll know pretty soon my top five. I don't know when, but soon though."
In addition to his offers he is also receiving significant interest from Texas Tech and Minnesota. He does not have any official visits or unofficial visits scheduled yet, but he would like to visit Colorado.
While he does not have his visit schedule planned and he is not ready to name any leaders, he does have an idea about when he would like to make his decision.
"Sometime during the season," Mouton said.
As a junior, Mouton recorded 4 interceptions and 2 touchdowns on his way to first team all-district honors. He attended camps at Texas Tech and LSU during the summer months and he is currently ranked a 5.5, 3-star prospect.
