Mountaineers lead for WR

Three-star Boutte (La.) Hahnville wide receiver/cornerback Darius Reynaud has named a leader as his recruitment enters the final stages.
“West Virginia is my favorite,” he said. “I just see that as a place where the coaches seem to want me the most and I can play early at receiver. That’s the main thing. But they also have a nice all-around program and a good business school. There’s a lot of good things going on there.”

Reynaud (5-10, 185, 4.4) is coming off a senior season which saw him rush for more than 1,900 yards and 35 touchdowns. As a junior, he caught 17 passes for 494 yards.
He’s made one official visit thus far, coming Dec. 5 at Indiana. He also plans a trip to Michigan State on Jan. 16.
“I set one up with Michigan State because I like the coaching staff and the way their offense operates,” he said. “They’ll give young players a chance to play early.
“My coach is going to help me set up the other ones when we get back in school. I’m also looking at Colorado and maybe Michigan. They’ve gotten more involved lately.”
Reynaud is rated the No. 41 wideout in the nation by Rivals.com.
