Mountaineers impressing DE Green

When Desimon Green spoke to Rivals.com back in March he listed three schools -- Pitt, Penn State and Texas Tech -- as his favorites. Now another school is in the mix.
The 6-foot-4, 215-pound defensive end is a highly coveted prospect because of his quickness, athleticism and ability to get to the quarterback.

When Green talked about his favorites last month he noted that there were things about each school that have piqued his interest. He appreciates the fact that Pitt is close to home and he has always kept an eye on Penn State, while Texas Tech's coaches have left a positive impression on him.
"West Virginia is coming on real strong so I'd probably say they're up there, too," Green said over the weekend. "I've talked to them a lot through e-mail. I like that it's close to home. They were telling me that I'd probably have a chance to play early."
The junior from Clairton, Pennsylvania has visited Pitt for spring practices a couple of times recently.
Green plans on attending Penn State's spring game in a couple of weeks as well. He still plans on taking "three or four" official visits before ha makes his decision early in the fall.
